Campaigns

Freedom and Liberation never comes from the top; Arts SU knows and believes in the power of grassroots campaigning. Campaigns are all about organising together to create change, whether it be laws, policies, structures, representation, behaviours, or something else entirely!

Make change

Freedom and Liberation never comes from the top; Arts SU knows and believes in the power of grassroots campaigning. Campaigns are all about organising together to create change, whether it be laws, policies, structures, representation, behaviours, or something else entirely! Grassroots campaigning is more than just influential people talking about issues impacting us – it’s doing something about it!

Here at Arts, we have a very loud and rich history of campaigns lead by UAL students. We’ve successfully won campaigns on Mental Health support; Extenuating Circumstances; Gender Neutral Toilets; International Student Fees; Disability awareness; and many more! Our work has previously reached a national audience. One of our most current and significant campaigns is on Cost of Living.

Officer Priorities & Themes 2023 - 2024

Every year, your Sabbatical officers will create individual priorities from their elected manifesto. These priorities are then categorised into themes that Arts SU will focus on for the year ahead alongside our additional campaign work, such as passed student ideas!

Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.
