If you’re looking for resources and information on how to run your society or sports club, you’re in the right place! The Arts SU Members' Toolkit should provide you with everything you need as a club or society member.

How do I claim expenses?

If you are claiming expenses on your club, creative community or society account, please complete a Payment Request Form

Once you have completed your form, please send it to your club Treasurer or President who will approve your request and send it to an Arts SU member of staff. If you have any further questions about our financial procedures, please read the Arts SU Financial Processes

What facilities are available and how do I book?

We have two facilities available for students to book free of charge:

  • Activities Studio, LCF High Holborn (Ground Floor, 272 High Holborn, London WC1V 7EY) – view timetable
  • Sports Pitch, King's Cross (174 York Way, London N1 0AZ (entry is on Handyside Street) – the Sports Pitch at King's Cross is available on Sundays, 11am–1pm

To book these spaces, please complete the online form and someone will get back to you within 48 hours. 

Societies and creative communities can book rooms for their events and activities via our online form

Competitive clubs

BUCS website

Team Sheets are compulsory for BUCS and LUSL fixtures, and usually completed by team captains.

Please download and complete your Team Sheet. After your fixture, send your completed form to: sports@su.arts.ac.uk

An Officials Expenses Form needs to be completed and signed every time you pay an official as proof of payment (one form per official). Once you have done this, you can then complete a Payment Request Form (see 'How do I can expenses?' above for more info).

Sponsorship

If you want to get sponsorship for your club, creative community or society, please read our Sponsorship Guidelines. The most important thing to do is to let the Students' Union know if you are thinking about getting sponsorship.

Handover

It is important to think about who will be doing your role after you leave. To make sure they are prepared as possible, you can use this blank handover document to pass on your vital experience and knowledge, ensuring the longevity of the club, creative community or society.

Funding

Arts SU can provide funding for society events, exhibitions, equipment and activities for your members.

This can range from artist talks, celebrations or to society projects!
