Inclusivity, opportunities, hard work and mindfulness. As a potential returning member in the affairs of student organization; member of the student union (2019) and founder/ president of a sports team (UAL Swimming 2021/22), I have always been interested in the betterment of this university. These are my values and we must build this next year together upon these through the power of common language, as it is of the utmost importance to provide a consistent experience of UAL to everyone. 

My experience as sports president (20/21) of the SU has prepared me particularly towards the intensity of the job and has helped me value the needs of the community. This next year is one vital for the growth of our Union and I have a plan. 

Our power lies in our diverse and eclectic range of creators. I advocate for the day in which interdisciplinary collaboration opportunities are more commonplace. We can aid in the development of personal and professional growth by providing engaging opportunities to every community that we cater to. UAL can be a hub for innovation on a level we are yet to see by encouraging us to mix our strengths that are our immense range of technologies and ambitious minds by incentivising projects of wider scope amongst our courses. 

Those students who have passion but not the team will be in better hands under this upcoming administration. My goal to share our university's resources through collaborative mindfulness can retroactively promote itself long after this year is over. 

I believe UAL is yet to see its best days. Together, this university can become greater than any one person could imagine. UAL is THE hub for creatives and this upcoming election , I, Axel Espana, aim to engage our community.
