Overview

Xhibit showcases the best emerging creatives from UAL and was originally founded in 1997 by Chelsea College graduates Kit Hammonds and Angela Robinson. We are thrilled to announce Xhibit’s catalogue launch in November 2020, in preparation for the exhibition launch at APT Gallery in February 2021! This session is just one in a series of practical workshops from the Arts SU to support you in developing your professional creative practice.

Join us for our first Xhibit Catalogue launch event!

An exciting interactive talk led by the collective Traven T. Croves (Andrew Lister and Matthew Stuart) showing us through some of the catalogues they have designed and produced. Aylin Kilic will be opening the session exploring her role in the making of the Xhibit catalogue. This session is for anyone with an interest in publications and catalogue making; it will guide you through areas of design, documentation and developing a catalogue.

Traven T. Croves: Matthew Stuart and Andrew Walsh-Lister are designers, editors and writers currently based between the UK and US, respectively. Together they edit and run the irregular journal / multifarious publishing platform Bricks from the Kiln and also collaborate on other publishing, editorial, and curatorial projects. Separately, Matthew Stuart is a senior lecturer in graphic design at Kingston School of Art, London. And Andrew Walsh-Lister is currently the 2019/20 Visiting Designer at Virginia Commonwealth University, Richmond.
