Overview

On the Thursday 29th of September 2022, we'll be holding a discussion and Q & A with The Pitch Film Fund, on Studio Ghibli films, and how these films interact with the themes of imagination, creativity, brokenness and redemption, which are key to the Christian faith. Anyone can join in, from any faith (or non) background, film buff or not! Come and have a good chat, eat pizza and chat films together.

Free pizza :)

Who is The Pitch FIlm Fund?

"The Pitch Film Fund exists to give emerging filmmakers a chance. We offer an array of training and support and have £50,000 to spend on two short films, offering you the opportunity to follow in the footsteps of everyone from Monty Python to Martin Scorsese in making a film inspired by the Bible. We are open to filmmakers of any background."

You can hear more about this from their representatives, Luke Walton, Pete Sinclair and Amari Yogendran who will be joining us for the evening.

They are the team who leads The Pitch Film Fund, so you'll be in discussion with industry professionals! Find out more about them here. (Link embedded)
