Welcome to UAL and (more importantly) welcome to Film Society!! 

If you are looking at this event, the chances are you like films, and you've come to the right place my friend!

For our first film screening of the year, we wanted to let you vote between two films at our Welcome Fair on the 28th September! (if that doesn't give you a reason to go then idk what does). We will also be posting a poll on the same day on our Instagram page @ual_film so you all have the chance to vote. 

But I know you all want to know what we are voting for.. 

Option 1 - Last Night in Soho - 18 (2021 - Dir. Edgar Wright) 

Option 2 - Monsters University - U (2013 - Dir. Dan Scanlon) 

Last night in Soho follows a young girl as she goes off to study fashion in London (sound familiar..) and is haunted by a glamorous girl from the sixties. It's a psychological drama but it's Edgar Wright so you know its good.

Monsters Univeristy I imagine you have all seen. But incase you have been too frightened to watch this U rated film, Monsters University is a prequel to Monsters Inc and follows Mike and Sully as they traverse University life as monsters in a competitive campus. 

One of these films will be shown on the 2nd October at 17:30 in LCC Lecture Theatre C and we won't start the film until a bit later so don't worry about being there dead on 17:30. Be there or be haunted by a sixties singer or something idk
