How Can I get Involved?

The Union holds an Annual General Meeting, or AGM, once per year in the final term, and the date is published on our democracy calendar. At this meeting, the Trustee Board will present on the Union's Finances for the previous year, detail all of the organisations the union has affiliated with on your behalf and outline any key impacts it has had over the past year. The AGM is a great opportunity for you to ask the Board any questions and hold it to account.

Interested in Becoming a Trustee?

We have three Student Trustee positions, which are elected in either first or second term elections depending on when a position is vacant. You could also become a Student Trustee by becoming a Sabbatical Officer in our 2nd term elections.

If you are a member of the public and are interested in becoming a trustee for the Students Union, we will publish any vacancies on our jobs page. If you are interested and we don't have any current vacancies, please get in touch with our Chief Executive Officer as our community of Students' Unions are always looking for new talent excited to get involved in our governance.

Minutes of Meetings

These are the public minutes available from our Trustee Board meetings. The next will be published once the Board have signed off on them, which will normally be at the following meeting.
