A Health and Safety professional, I started my career in Life Sciences, working in the UK and across Europe. After several years and several different organisations, I moved into higher education, working for UCL in the Corporate safety team. In 2016, after a chance opportunity, I moved to Reykjavik and lived and worked in Iceland over the next few years. Earlier this year, I returned to London and I'm currently a Safety Adviser at the UK Parliament, working across the organisation to ensure a safe working environment and protect staff and visitors from harm.
Outside of work, I'm director of Threshold Festival of Music & Arts which takes place each spring in Liverpool. Focussing on grass roots art and music and emerging talent; the festival provides a platform for artists to reach new audiences, to experiment, collaborate and celebrate the creative scene on Merseyside. We're entering our 9th year, applications to exhibit or perform open soon! Find out more at thresholdfestival.co.uk
In my spare time, I love travelling, visiting exhibitions and going to gigs and festivals.
