We will be at each site for an hour and a half – time per student will be dependent on bookings per site.
You must book a slot in advance. If you wish to book in some time for us to come to view your work during these visits then please contact Sophie Risner Arts Programmer.
Why do you only judge from one image in the first rounds?
Xhibit is a visual open submission exhibition and we believe that work in this context should speak for itself. The selected participants are chosen solely on the taste of the judging panel. By judging work this way it speeds up the selection process as the panel are only viewing images in the first rounds.
My work is moving image/sound. Can I apply?
Yes! All disciplines are encouraged to apply. If your work is moving image / sound or similar then please make this clear in your application form and then upload a link to a Vimeo / Youtube / Soundcloud file which we can access online to view the work.
Why can’t you provide feedback?
Due the amount of submissions we receive, we don’t have the resources to provide individual feedback on every submission. Everyone finds out whether they have or have not been selected though.
