Tell us a bit about how you first got involved in your sport?
I was already swimming and riding when my mum signed me up for fencing at 10 in hopes to start pentathlon. In the end my love of fencing took over all the other sports and became my main focus.
What is a typical week for you?
I train at least 2 a week with private lessons from coaches. I often compete nationally or aboard as part of team GBR. I also train for long weekends in Nottingham as part of ADP program.
What are your greatest sporting achievements/what are you most proud of?
Fencing is more than the athletes - there’s also coaches, referees, amours and organisers. Over the years I have started to referee competitions and gained a coaching qualification. For me fencing isn’t just a sport but a community that I have got to know well over the years which creates friends for life.
