Arts Active is all about trying new and exciting things at UAL without the competitive edge. Also it is an opportunity to relieve stress, getting active and learning new skills. Arts Active activities provide a great opportunity to meet new people across different campuses, access affordable activities and have plenty of fun.
Be part of our exciting programme and get access to a wealth of physical activity and social opportunities throughout the year including fitness classes such as Yoga, Zumba and Pilates and recreational sport sessions and various one off pop-up events. Be involved in Arts Active and make the most of your University experience. Arts Active also provides opportunity to build skills such as Communication, Networking and Resilience to enhance your graduate employability through various opportunities such as workshops and events that are delivered in partnership with various departments throughout the year. Whatever it is there is an opportunity for everyone across all abilities.

Membership fees help to cover the day-to-day running costs of Arts Active sessions as well as covering you under our insurance policy.
The Students’ Union is a charity which means we are a non for profit organisation and so any additional funds are always invested straight back into our activities.

Halls Active is a brand new programme brought to you by the SU’s Sports active team and Hall’s Wellbeing Peers for 2017-18. This exciting initiative provides UAL students with access to more than 200 hours of fitness, wellbeing and mindfulness activities throughout the academic year - working out at less than 20p a session!

The Halls Active programme is aimed at students of all abilities and those who want to exercise on a social level in a convenient location within UAL Halls of residence. You can attend as many of the sessions as you would like to, they are all included within the membership!
The drop in sessions in Yoga, Boxercise, Aerobics, Zumba and many more are available at the following halls:
Alongside the weekly sessions, there will also be opportunity to participate in one off events, join in with our fun smoothie workshops, UV dance yoga or challenge your fellow halls of residence to active competitions!
