About Us 

We are a group of students interested in all things food; cooking, eating, sharing culture, history and the future of food! The society aims to create an inclusive community for anybody with an interest in food, whether you’re a pro chef or burn toast, to share recipes, experiences, and culture. We want to encourage more students to cook more and share the benefits, especially on our mental health, of doing so.   

 

Planned Events/Activities 

Our biweekly sessions will create a relaxed space to meet people, over snacks and simple activities, such as a pasta making evening or cookie decorating. The society is also planning different optional events to take place throughout the year, such as a Talk series on different topics around Food; Sustainability, Design and Community. Hopefully we will also be able to facilitate some group social activities such as meals out together to recommended restaurants by people in our society, and discounted cookery workshops!
