Everyone is a Girl Society is a new collective focused on the relationship between femininity and internet culture. We aim to record and weave the thought done by girls online as well as their predecessors in cyberfeminism. We discard the priority/possibility of authenticity online, if at all. Instead we yield to the pearly cavern of artifice, play, and swarm that might reveal that there was no true self in the first place.
Expect everyone is a girl to stretch the informational sublime and bring presentation nights, social events and workshops where we perform, record, and embrace the digital in hopes to manipulate, collectivise, and forge the future.
We will share monthly prompts and host a presentation night where anyone is welcome to share their response to the prompt in any media. We will also be archiving these through the making of a zine with the responses.
