My name is Anna Iwazawa, and I am running for two NUS positions; National Conference Delegate & Liberation Conference Delegate. UAL is based in one of the world's major creative capitals, where students from various backgrounds gather to share their creativity. I am an international student who came from a Japanese-speaking home, was raised in Chinese culture, and studied at international schools for the past 12 years. I trust that with my diverse background, I can bring us together and deliver our voices to the NUS. I value international students’ voices, because I truly believe that a school wouldn’t run well without a diverse student body. Last year, 33% of all UAL students were international. Although we only make up a third of the student population, we are important, and I will make our voices heard. Your vote for me could make a change, to make UAL more active than before.
