My name is Anna Iwazawa, and I believe my skills and experience position me as a strong candidate for the school representative role of screen school, and I am confident that I will prove valuable to LCC. From the practical side, as a budding film producer, I have taken on roles across ten films – orchestrating the logistics of short films by negotiating locations, coordinating with cast and crew, scheduling for pre and post-production, and creating risk assessments & legal documents for the film. I have contributed to more than 10 films as a producer. Through this experience, I have gained strong time management and organisation. On the theoretical side, as an enthusiastic volunteer & a filmmaker delegate, I have participated in multiple film festivals such as Shanghai International Film Festival, BFI London Film Festival, Festival de Cannes, and more. I have expanded my aesthetic & cultural vision through volunteering and working with the delegate services team to help organising the screening, and as a filmmaker delegate and going to industry forums, conferences, workshops, and screenings. Through my experience, I want to bring it more to the UAL Screen School. To improve the student experience, and to the better student life.
