Hey Hey Hey

My name is Gaby and I'm a soon-to-be graduate from one and only, Graphic Branding & Identity over at Design School in LCC.

I've been at UAL for 4 years now, and it's a truly amazing place to be a creative student and launch your creative career. Being able to access creative opportunities, network, collaborate and motivate each other is something I wish was around a lot more. As an Activities Officer, I’d love to organise more events and creative spaces for all years to integrate and feel like they can network with their future industry creatives. As a branding designer a big part of the course was to think about branding strategies, which would be an amazing advantage to the job.  If I were given the opportunity to be your Activities Officer, I’d be there to hear you and hear your needs. I’m a very big mental heath advocate and that’s one of the key things I will keep in my mind. Besides the job I’d love to be accessible to the students for any tips, advice or a chat (even if it would have to be done over zoom). 

In the perfect world, Class of 2022 will be able to get their degree showcase in the Summer of 2022, but having have said that, I will not forget my fellow Class of 2020 and my own year group - Class of 2021. I would make it my mission, to allow the space and time to be an active part in fighting to get us the degree show we deserve. 

Having said all this, I really hope to have secured your vote, and for now stay safe and stay creative.
