Let’s grow the Indian community at UAL together!
Namaskar Doston! (Overdoing it? Yes.)
My name is Rhea Mehra and I am a first-year BA Advertising student at LCC. I’m just your average Bollywood-loving and chaat-obsessed desi girl from Delhi, India!
Let’s get to the main point: Why should you vote for me and What will I do for you?
-
I strive to create content that engages the community, inspires individuals and delivers the message effectively.
-
I aim to grow the Indian Society at UAL, through interactive creative content and techniques. Let’s just say you might be able to watch vlogs, short films, social media takeovers (and so much more) created by the team showcasing the Indian Society!
-
I’ve spent my high school life dedicating myself to anything revolving around media, marketing, promotions and advertising! (Afterall, I chose this field as my career) Therefore, the marketing and promotions of the Indian Society will be in good hands.
-
I’ve been a marketing intern in advertising agencies and marketing departments for 2 consecutive years, created my own marketing and media club in high school that got high amounts of organic growth in less than a year! I’ve immersed myself in creating films, blogs, vlogs, posts - anything and everything you can think of.
-
Whilst having many roles and responsibilities throughout high school, I’ve learned the skills of commitment, leadership, creativity, and most importantly, communication.
Now that you got to know me a little bit in terms of my “qualifications”, here are some fun things to know about me!
-
My favourite movies are Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani and Dostana (Yes, I’m very basic.)
-
My favourite festivals are Diwali and Holi.
-
One dessert I love would definitely be Kulfi with Rabri.
-
And I forgot about Jalebi - make that two desserts.
And there you have it! If you’d like someone creative, fun, engaging and interactive as the Head of Promotions and Marketing for the Indian Society - you know who to vote for!
This is for all the Indian students out there, let’s make the Indian Society our ‘Home away from Home’.
