Arts SU Leadership Elections 2021

Every year as a UAL student you get the opportunity to elect the leadership of your Students’ Union. These leaders are four full-time paid positions that represent you to senior staff at the University, campaign on issues affecting the student experience and lead the independent member-led organization that is Arts Students’ Union.

Activities Officer

The Activities Officer, will champion extracurricular activities, supporting the students who run and partake in our Sports Clubs & Societies to use their voice. They'll play a key role in organising our events and exhibitions, and will support Arts SU’s creative spaces, creative opportunities and student enterprise opportunities.

Campaigns Officer

The Campaigns Officer will empower students to stand up for their rights and make powerful change at College, UAL and wider-societal level. An idealist and activist, they'll ensure that UAL students can access the support and resources they need to run strategic, well-crafted campaigns and get involved in Arts SU decision-making processes – to make the change happen.

Education Officer

The Education Officer role ensures that every student feels empowered to reach their academic potential. They'll be responsible for representing students’ interests on academic matters, championing the improvement of teaching & learning across UAL’s six colleges. Alongside this, they support our network of 1000 course reps and Academic Representation projects.

Welfare Officer

The Welfare Officer will focus on ensuring that all students are heard, happy and healthy during their studies. They are a champion for diversity, equality and inclusion, lobbying the university hard on issues of student integration and widening participation. They'll campaign for students’ wellbeing, making sure they’re represented and supported during their time at UAL and across their University experience.
