Date Wednesday 15 February 2023
Location The SU Gallery, Central Saint Martins
Flowers and plants have been used throughout history to symbolise different emotions and meanings. In the theme of Love & Strength, this workshop, using real flowers and the magic of cyanotype, will allow our students to be able to express themselves visually in a way that is beautiful, calming and serene. You will have the opportunity to create some pieces on paper as well as your own tote bag! This will be followed by a discussion on nature in communities, and how we used plants in the workshop to work towards representing those relationships.
The workshop will be run by Daisy Bow du Toit, whose work with cyanotypes was recently featured by both Lucy & Yak and Levis. You can see more of Daisy's work @DaisyBow_Craft
