Overview
In this workshop, Jade will be teaching the basics of soft circuits and e-textiles by getting participants to create their own wearable light-up badges, inspiring people to explore the world of creative technology for themselves!
Bio:
Jade Pughe, a Creative Technologist at HEX Studio, recently graduated from WPP's Creative Technology Apprenticeship, and holds a First-Class Honours degree in Graphic Communication Design with Creative Computing from Central Saint Martins.
Consistently, and ironically, women and marginalised genders have been overlooked despite their prevalent contributions to technology as we know it today. Jade believes using tech to innovate creative solutions for global challenges -from climate change to social inequalities- is an act of rebellion. Leveraging her diverse skill set, she applies cutting-edge technologies to craft immersive and interactive experiences for the audiences of global brands within WPP's portfolio.
