Overview
Professional Portfolios for... is a series of sessions aimed at UAL student, graduates and alumni who are looking for support with their employability and preparing a professional portfolio for paid work opportunities.
Join Careers and Employability to learn how to create a professional portfolio for visual communications career paths. Whether you are submitting a portfolio for freelance roles, pitching for clients or applying for a job as an in-house designer.
In this session we will explore:
- How to sequence and edit the contents of your portfolio
- How to create a narrative and convey your vision
- The formats options for your portfolio and which is suited to your purpose
- Tips to help you present your work effectively and showcase your personal brand
This session is ideal for students and graduates with visual communications skills who are interested in opportunities within Illustration, Graphic Design and/or Animation or those who are considering switching careers or discipline focus.
