The Extenuating Circumstances processes at UAL are being reviewed, and it's your chance to help improve the process.
If you’re a UAL student, you might have heard of Extenuating Circumstances (ECs): it’s an application process for adjustments to your assignment deadlines if you’ve found yourself in temporary or long-term circumstances that impact your ability to complete your work on time. Both the Arts SU and UAL websites have more information about the current EC process and how it all works.
The Extenuating Circumstances processes at UAL are being reviewed right now, and this is where your thoughts come in. The ECs team want to hear about your experiences and views of ECs, whether you’ve used Extenuating Circumstances or not. Even if you had no idea about Extenuating Circumstances until right now, the team are giving you the chance to have your say about how it works and how it should work!
How? All you need to do is answer a few quick questions. Your answers are anonymous and it all only takes a few minutes. Every answer is so valuable and it’ll be used to re-shape ECs so they support more of the UAL community. Get your response in right here – but you’ve only got until 7th June to improve ECs.
