LGBTQIA+ Student Competition!

£150 voucher prize, your artwork produced as limited-edition print, and a one-to-one development session with not just a shop!  Share your voice this LGBTQIA+ History Month and you could win these fantastic prizes.

 

What are we looking for?  

This competition is aimed at showcasing the diverse range of creativity at UAL. We want to see what our LGBTQIA+ community at UAL have to offer. We want to see your creativity and passion.

We are looking for a design that encapsulates your thoughts on LGBTQIA+ History Month. It may be something personal or something you have been working on for your degree.

We ask that you only submit work that is completed, rather than proposals of work to be created. It can be in any media - just make sure to think about how it might be translated as limited-edition print.

 

Criteria for Selection

  • High quality artwork
  • Creative and unique
  • Concept of the design
     

What can you win? 

  • Win £150 voucher - To a shop of your choice
  • Your design printed and sold in not just a shop  Your winning design will be produced as a limited-edition print. Print options will be discussed in your one-to-one. You will also receive stock of your winning designs!
  • Receive a developmental one-to-one with not just a shop – To gain further insight on how to take a design and turn it into a retail ready print. This can cover file set-up, print production, pricing and packaging. 
  • Professional photographs – The winning design will be photographed in a studio for the not just a shop online store, you will be given these photos to use for your portfolio and website.

With permission, submissions will be featured on the Arts SU social platforms and the selected entry will be featured on not just a shop’s socials. This competition is open to all UAL Home and International students who identify as LGBTQIA+.
