The most important deadline of the year....On Saturday 29th February, UAL and Goldsmiths students came together to battle it out in our annual Varsity. Also known as the Arts Cup, varsity attracts over 700 players and spectators with one university being crowned Varsity champions. It's a day where UAL and Goldsmiths students come together and unite behind their respected universities by cheering the teams on and wearing club colours. With pick up sports available on the day, as well as hot food and drinks to purchase, there is something for everyone to try out! Regardless of the result, once the matches are concluded, all players and spectators come together to celebrate and party into the midnight hours.

UAL had won the previous two Varsity's and were looking to make it an unprecedented hat-trick of wins, but the Goldsmiths Lions had other ideas. With 12 fixtures across the day taking place at St Dunstan's College, it was the Lions who came up on top against the UAL Unicorns, triumphing with a result of 8-4.
