This society is currently on pause because it has no committee members for the year 2021/22. If you would be interested in restarting this society we would love to hear from you!
If you would like to see this Society back, please email the Societies Development Coordinator Megan Cunningham (firstname.lastname@example.org) and she will talk you through the process. Being a committee member can be a very rewarding way to create the communities you want to be a part of.
A society for students who enjoy playing and discussing video games with real people, but want the experience to be more personal than meeting random gamers online. Off and online sessions organised in university rooms or on the gaming-oriented platform Discord. The focus is on multiplayer, and everyone’s preference is considered when choosing games. No requirement to be skilful, but friendly competitiveness not discouraged.
Tournaments, quizzes, e-sports screenings, gaming-related exhibition trips... the possibilities are endless (at least when the pandemic is over, but the online side is unaffacted). New and long-time gamers welcome.
Feel free to log on as a non-member to get more information.
