What is the Welcome Fair?

It’s your chance to talk to our Sports Clubs, Societies, and student-led networks. Alongside student-led communities, there’s a great selection of national and local businesses, ready and waiting with freebies to give you. So whether you're searching for a club or society to join, looking to find out more information on the Students' Union and student-led campaigns, or simply searching for discounts and offers, you're at the right place!

When and where is the fair?

This year we're hosting the fair on Saturday 27th September 2025 at Central Saint Martins, King's Cross.

What time will the fair be taking place? 

The Welcome Fair will be from 10am - 4pm with the first hour from 10am - 11am designated as a quiet/access hour for those students who need some additional space and quiet in order to enjoy the event. Quiet hour is designed to help create a more calming environment where we will switch off any music and ask students to keep noise levels low. 

Who can come to the fair?

The Welcome Fair is are open to all UAL students! So whether you're joining us as a new undergraduate, postgraduate student or are a returning student, feel free to come along. 

Is there a cost to coming to the Fair?

NO tickets or purchases are necessary to attend Welcome Fair 2025, but if you're thinking about attending the Fair, please consider registering your interest! This way, we'll know to expect you. Accessibility information

Welcome Fair 2025 takes place on The Street, inside at Central Saint Martins, King's Cross.

We work hard to make sure the Welcome Fair is wheelchair accessible. The East and West entrances to Central Saint Martins are both step-free, and the majority of Central Saint Martins is step-free via lift access.

The first hour of the Fair is a designated quiet hour, where we switch off all music and ask all stallholders to keep noise to a minimum. You do not need to register for a ticket or tell us you're coming for the quiet hour, but please do reach out if you have any questions or specific requirements that we haven't covered here.
