ABOUT

Who says play stays inside a screen? game.PLAY is a collaborative exhibition by multidisciplinary students from across University of the Arts London (UAL) taking place on March 5, 2026, at Camberwell College of Arts. Part exhibition, part creative experiment, game.PLAY explores how the idea of “gameplay” can extend far beyond traditional games, where gaming is not the goal, but the theme.

Positioning play as a critical way of thinking, making, testing, and working together, the exhibition presents a kaleidoscope of practices, including mixed media, thread and yarn work, acrylic painting, immersive units, and more. The works examine how rules are formed, followed, broken, adapted, and reimagined, revealing how collaboration actively shapes creative development and decision-making.

This exhibition tears down the walls between thinking and making. No manuals, no fixed outcomes, just a collective exploration of how ideas evolve through play, experimentation, and exchange.

Rather than asking audiences to simply observe, game.PLAY invites you to participate, be curious, and reflect. Don’t just watch. Press Start.

Featuring work by:
Xindi Hu (MA Fine Art: Painting, Camberwell), Sam Hwang (MA Music Production, LCC), Philippa Bandurek Bradbury (PhD Graphic Communication Design, CSM), Tricia Wong (MA Illustration, Camberwell), Priyal Patel (MSc Computing in the Creative Industries (Modular), CCI), Yusuke Kuriki (MA Fine Art, CSM),  Ziyan Liu (MA Fine Art, CSM), Harriet Powell, (BA Fine Art, Camberwell (with CCI Diploma year)), Hiranya Toor (Rany), (BA Graphic & Media Design, LCC), Ibn Faiz (MA Fashion Film & Digital Production, LCF).
