Overview

Join us for a laid-back, educational and fun workshop where we'll be teaching you how to make your very own Snowskin Mooncakes from scratch! This is to celebrate Mid Autumn Festival, a harvest festival observed in Chinese culture.

Here's what to expect!

Menu:

Handmade pulled duck bao
Pear and brie savoury choux
Osmanthus tea

Itinerary:

10am: Arrive at The Bridge Social cafe (directions will be provided on Instagram stories @ualculinarycreators and on our Whatsapp channel)

10:00-10:30am: Enjoy snacks made by the committee and get to know each other

10:30-11:00am: Split up into different tables to make the snowskin from scratch

11:00-12:00pm: Steam the snowskin dough and prepare fillings in the meantime (various options available)

12:00-1:00pm: Stamp and decorate mooncakes

1:00-1:30pm: Help clean up + pack mooncakes

1:30-2:00pm: Debrief, goodie bags and farewell

If this doesn't sound enticing, we don't know what is... Sign up quickly as spots will run out super fast since it's the first event! Please note, only ticket holders will be allowed to attend the workshop and enjoy the free snacks. If you're curious to turn up and just watch, you may, but please let the committee know as we have limited space at the venue.
