Overview

Join The Culinary Creators for our annual Halloween Bakeoff and compete for 3 attractive prize packages, regardless of your skill level! Come flex your creativity and cheffy skills to your friends, and create spooky and/or autumnal bakes to celebrate the spooky season!

Don't want to compete? You can still come and enjoy fresh bakes as voters, and take part in fun spooky activities while you wait for the challengers to finish their dishes!

Here's the itinerary:
4:30 - Challengers to arrive to the venue to help set up
5:00-5:15pm - Everyone else arrives, get a plate of fresh, handmade food by the committee
5:15pm-7:00pm - Bakeoff (other attendees do other activities like games and crafts)
7:00pm-7:15pm - Judging
7:15pm - Prizegiving
7:30pm - Pack up + photo taking + take goodie bags
8:00pm sharp - Farewell

Rules/Disclaimers:

  1. You are NOT ALLOWED to bring any pre-made, handmade components that may elevate your bake, like homemade sauce or homemade crumble. You have to make it at the competition itself.
  2. You may bring store-bought jams, sauces, crumble, lady fingers etc, but we will take note of these as this may affect judging if another challenger made their components from scratch.
  3. You are encouraged to make savoury bakes to balance off the sweet dishes. Each challenger is allowed only ONE dish each.
  4. You are allowed to bring extra equipment like cupcake tins - we will show you what's available on Instagram and Whatsapp.
  5. You will have to arrive at the venue earlier to help set up.
  6. Once you've given us your contact, we may ask for photos of any ingredients you'd like to bring + your pantry just to ensure there's little to no cross-contamination.
  7. The ingredients you bring may be banned last minute if we have an attendee who is allergic to it. We'll let you know ASAP.
  8. You can sign up as a team, but will have to split the prize should your team win.
  9. There will be 3 winners; every other challenger will get a token of appreciation.
  10. You have till 29th October 11:59pm to sign up.
