We are aware that there are a number of unofficial ‘UAL Freshers 2025’ ticketed events, wristbands, and groups currently circulating. We want to make it clear that all ‘UAL Freshers 2025’ content being currently shared is completely unaffiliated with Arts Students’ Union and University of the Arts London. All events, wristbands, tickets, and groups are unofficial, and we would strongly recommend not purchasing any tickets or joining any groups. 

Unlike many other Students’ Unions, at Arts SU our ‘Freshers’ period is called ‘Welcome’. This is because all UAL students are welcome at all of our events, not just Freshers!

I’ve purchased an unofficial ticket – what do I do? 

We encourage you to seek a refund from the retailer you purchased the ticket from as we cannot guarantee whether unofficial events are safe – or even real. As Arts SU and UAL are unaffiliated with these events, we unfortunately cannot offer you a refund for any unofficial ticket purchases you might have made. 

I’ve spotted an unofficial event, wristband, or group – what do I do? 

Please send through the link to any event, wristband, or group to our Communications and Marketing Team at comms@arts-su.com, and we will be able to verify whether the content you are seeing is official and affiliated with us. It would also be helpful to know where you found the link, such as social media, a QR code, or at an event. 

When do official events go on sale? 

Arts SU official events and wristbands will go on sale in July or August: exact date TBC. Any and all ‘UAL Freshers 2025’ events you see before this are not affiliated with Arts SU or UAL. 

How do I know if an event, wristband, or group is official or unofficial? 

The safest way to guarantee that the purchase you are making is legitimate is through the Arts SU website. We advertise all of our events on our What’s On page. We sell our Welcome night event tickets through Fatsoma, and official links on the Arts SU website redirect to our official Arts SU Fatsoma page.

The only Facebook group we operate is UAL/Arts SU Housing Group Official. Any ‘UAL Freshers 2025’ Facebook group is not affiliated with Arts Students’ Union or University of Arts London.
