Event Coordination: Supported student societies and events, liaising with staff for quicker and more sustainable space approvals.

Student Communication: Responded to student concerns (e.g., building temperature issues at CSM); ensured student voices are raised with staff.

Faith & Inclusion: Advocated for a permanent multi-faith prayer space and increased staff awareness of its importance.

Global Issues Advocacy: Followed up with UAL on their stance on Palestine, keeping students informed.

Freedom of Expression Steering Group: Participated in discussions with staff to support student freedoms.

Ongoing & Term 2-3 Focus (Things I’m Currently Working On)

Technical & Digital Skills Support: Expanding CAD and media skills workshops, especially for 1st-year architecture students without media tutors.

Student Activism & Engagement: Building stronger connections with student groups to better communicate their demands (e.g., ethical divestment) to the university.

Cultural & Social Events: Planning to increase cultural events at CSM to boost student participation and representation.

Areas to Develop / Long-Term Plans

Freedom of Expression Impact: Moving beyond presence to create tangible change within the Steering Group.

Expanded Technical & Cultural Support: Implementing more hands-on digital lessons and events in Term 2 and 3, forming part of a long-term strategy for future years.

Strategic Student Engagement: Developing ongoing connections with activist and interest groups to influence university policies.
