Spread the Palentine's Love!

Palentine's Day at Arts SU is BACK for 2024!

Join the Arts SU Advice Team on Tuesday 13th February for Palentine’s Day 2024! We'll be hosting an afternoon of celebrations at the Darkroom Bar (LCC) between 12-4pm. This is a great opportunity for you to socialise and celebrate friendship, whether you come along with your pals or are looking to make new ones!

Last year we took to CSM The Street with our infamous prize wheel and lots of love-heart sweets, and everyone who stopped by made it a real day to remember! Members of our Buddy Up! initiative have been asking us to host social events. So, this year, we're taking it up a notch. This Palentine's Day, you can expect a postcard station, friendship bracelet making, a raffle, a chilled out space for you to chat to friends or new people, and of course, lots of free sweets! Our Arts SU Advice team will also be around on the day to talk to you about the support we offer students and how you can make an appointment with us to discuss any academic or housing issues you may be facing.

Finally, if you don’t already know, Palentine’s Day is a part of our Buddy Up! initiative where we help students make new friends at UAL. Buddy Up! is a 1-2-1 friend matching system where you can sign up with a few preferences, and we'll introduce you to a new friend at UAL by email! We also have Buddy Channels: they're Microsoft Teams networks where you can chat, share, and network with other UAL students who self-identify as belonging to the same community as you. You can sign-up to either or both of these initiatives here.

P.S keep an eye out for our team at different UAL campuses this February, spreading the Palentine’s love!
