About The Other Art Fair

The Other Art Fair is an international art event that connects independent artists directly with art

enthusiasts looking to add to, or begin, their art collection. The Other Art Fair offers unforgettable

experiences with editions in cities around the world, including New York, Los Angeles, Dallas, Chicago,

London, Atlanta and Phoenix.

The Other Art Fair’s ‘never-normal’ approach offers attendees direct access to artists and unique ways to

experience art through experiential programming like live music, tattooing pop-ups, food and drinks,

interactive workshops, live performances, and more.

Overview

Onsite Staff will provide hands-on support to artists and visitors at The Other Art Fair London for the

October 2026 edition (8-11 October). The ideal candidate is energetic and upbeat, personable,

detail-oriented, and communicates effectively.

Sunday, 11 October 

10.30 am - 8 p.m. 

11am - 6 p.m.


Job Duties:

  • Assist with artist load-in, helping artists unload and set up their work while making them feel welcomed to the fair.
  • Support the Welcome Desk by scanning visitor tickets and directing guests to the appropriate areas of the fair.
  • Support an assigned Feature Stand, which can include:

    ○ Signing visitors up for workshops and other feature activities.
    ○ Talking to visitors about the feature and answering their questions.
    ○ Helping manage crowds and queues if sign-ups get busy.

  • Clean and reset workshop spaces between sessions, ensuring all materials and supplies are fully restocked.
  • Roam the fair to check in on artists, answering questions directly where possible or bringing in a senior staff member for support when needed.
  • Move flexibly between these areas throughout a shift, based on where support is needed most.
  • Maintain a high standard of customer service in every interaction with artists and visitors.

Qualifications

  • Personable and outgoing personality
  • Highly professional
  • Upbeat, can-do attitude
  • Comfortable moving between different tasks and adapting quickly to changing priorities
  • Confident interacting with both artists and members of the public
  • Familiarity with technology (e.g. QR code/ticket scanning apps) is a bonus, but not required
  • Comfortable with standing and moving around for extended periods (see above hours)

Pay: £14.80 per hour (London living wage)
