Hey UAL students!

This is your Advice Team at Arts SU, and we're very excited to let you know that we’ll be attending the UAL Life After Halls Roadshow coming up in May! The Roadshow will be a perfect chance for valuable housing and careers networking, with a tour of pop-up stalls running across 5 days at 5 different locations to connect you with opportunities. Find us at our pop-up stall each day from 3-6pm on:

• 13^th May at Sketch House
• 15^th May at The Costume Store
• 20^th May at Glassyard Building

We'll be there to give you information on everything you need to know about housing, including resources for finding accommodation, tenants' rights, council tax, deposits, and more. Come and talk to one of our friendly advisors at our stall to find out what we can help you on in more detail, including contract checking and resolving disputes with accommodation providers.

In the meantime, it might be a good idea to also have a look at the accommodation section on our website which has information on a range of housing queries, as well as an overview of the support we offer. You can always contact us by email or book an appointment with an advisor if you have any urgent queries. And last but not least, we’ll have fun games and freebies waiting at our stall, so stay tuned for exciting things!

For more online housing events, the University of London Housing Services (ULHS) will be hosting two Looking for Accommodation free webinars, with information on accommodation options, where, when, and how to look, tenants’ rights and responsibilities, and avoiding scams. There's also a Q&A session for all those burning questions.

The two webinars will take place on:

• 7^th May at 11am – 12pm
• 16^th May at 2pm – 3pm
