Illustration Society

About Us

We are UAL’s drawing, painting, and illustration society! We aim to bring together students who want to further their art skills, learn new ones, have fun, and/or meet like-minded people in a relaxed environment :)

We want to learn from and help each other: students from all courses are invited to join, regardless of their current illustration/drawing level.

Planned Events/Activities

We meet once a week for drawing sessions, and hold monthly illustration challenges on social media.

Some of our future events include:

• drink and draws
• cat cafe cartoons & dog drawing
• themed art sessions (Learning to draw clothing, portraits, perspective…)
• tutored market drawing
• plein air painting and drawing: London at night (billboards in the West End), trips outside London…

We are also planning on holding tutored lessons, open studio sessions, and social events like graffiti sessions and Zine meetups!
