Hello everyone, this is Summer (she/her) and I'm your current School Representative of the LCC Media School. Moreover, I’m also a Course Representative in BA (Hons) Photography. These roles allow me to represent your thoughts and opinion at a school and course level throughout the year. Your voice is my priority and I'm keen on making more changes for all of you at LCC, especially for students studying at the Media School.

Besides being your representatives, I work closely with the Arts Student Union as well. I’m the President of both the Music Society and the Table Tennis Club. I create and organise various events for all UAL students across six colleges to participate. Furthermore, I also work with the Language Society based at ACM (Academy of Contemporary Music) as an Event Organiser. I believe from all the experiences I have as yet, I would be able to speak up for everyone!

What I have done so far as your current School Representative:

• improved communication between LCC's students and university's staffs
• reduced anxiety and confusion for BA and MA courses at the Media School
• resolved some technical issues for both Moodle and the UAL's timetable app 
• added a few trips and exhibitions for students to go with their tutors and course mates
• ensured our voice have continued being heard and always making sure the university is making chances for us

If I’m re-elected as your School Representative, I will:

• continue making sure all voices are being heard at a school level
• communicate and raise issues or concerns to staff members for YOU
• ensure all problems are resolved and feedback your thoughts directly to the university
• adding more book binding's workshops as well as In Design, Photoshop's short courses at LCC
• more instructions/ guidelines needed to be added and send out to students with regards to kit’s equipment 
• make sure at all time everyone is satisfy whilst studying at LCC and your voice is being listened, heard and resolved

I can assure you that more positive changes will be made and I will make sure the university provides a better experience for all students xx
