Dependable, Reliable, and Punctual

Hi everyone! My name is Alice Kim, and I am Year 2 student studying Design for Art Direction at LCC Design School.

I am a passionate and driven individual who believes in the power of art and design. And I have witnessed firsthand the limitations and challenges that students face in this field. Hence, I am determined to make a change and difference.

First and foremost, I do not easily give up on something I set my mind on. This determination will serve me well in my role as a school representative as I strive to bring about change in well-being and improvements in design school.

Secondly, I possess strong communication skills. Through my experience as a course rep and student researcher at LCC library, I understand that communication is key to building relationships and fostering collaboration. I will be the bridge between the students and the faculty, and it is important for me to be able to communicate effectively with both parties, reducing confusion and anxiety that could happen within our academic practices.

In addition, I am a good listener, and I believe that listening is just as important as speaking. By listening to the concerns and ideas of my fellow students, I will be able to represent students' voice to school more constructively - improving our well-being.

I am also open-minded and willing to learn. I believe that every person has something valuable to contribute. This will allow me to better understand the needs of the school community and come up with solutions that work for everyone.

Finally, I understand that being a school representative is not about me but about serving the student community’s needs. I am willing to put in the hard work and dedication required to make a positive impact on design school.

With my strong communication skills, willingness to learn, and humble attitude, I am confident that I will excel in my role as a school representative.

I look forward to working with my fellow students and the faculty to bring about positive change at LCC Design School.

Vote for Alice :)
