Hi! My name is Tionne Debnam, a 2nd year BA Fashion Marketing student. I am very excited to be running for the position of  LCF Officer.

Having studied at LCF for two and a half years now, I feel that I have an understanding of the interworking of the college, along with the needs of my peers. This understanding paired with being the founder and co-president of UAL’s Future Marketers’ Society, I know that I am the best candidate for this position. Below are my aims:

Themed Gala Event

As an elite and global college, LCF and its students would highly benefit from a yearly themed gala event (think Met). Being able to execute an event of this nature will provide a platform for design students, networking opportunities, and fostering industry relationships.

Better Internship Search Assistance

I have found that finding internships serves as a challenge for many students along with a lack of assistance to ready us for our futures. This is why, when I am elected, I will push the university to provide more support to students in search of industry internships/ work experience.

Industry Project Collaborations

LCF uses engagement between students and the industry as a marketing strategy to recruit students. However, this “engagement” is not built into most course curriculums. When elected, I will lobby for this to be incorporated into aspects of all LCF courses.

Thank You! Accepting this position will be an enormous honor!
