Hey, I’m Hannah!

I’m excited to be running for the position of Chelsea Officer, as a current 3rd Year BA Fine Art student at Chelsea.

I started at UAL on my Foundation Diploma, and throughout my time here I have taken on several different roles that have allowed me to connect with students across UAL and the SU, such as being a course rep, a Student Ambassador, working with the SU Activities Team to deliver the Arts Active program, and being President of UAL Climbing.

It’s really important to me that you, as a UAL student, feel welcome, safe, heard, and respected. It’s a strange, isolating time that we’re in at the moment, so as Chelsea Officer I want to focus on maintaining and building upon the community at Chelsea.

Student wellbeing will be a priority, and I will work to ensure that students feel represented not only within the college but at a university-wide level, especially during this period of Covid-19. With this in mind, I’m eager to improve ways for students across the college to connect and engage with each other, such as through cross-course activities, more social events, collaborative projects, and online spaces.

I will push for the continuation and improvement of transparent discourse between the University and its students, listen to your ideas and issues, and work with other Officers, in order to create opportunities and facilitate changes that YOU want to see!
