Overview

Event Information:

This year’s Black History month centres around the curation and celebration of Black Joy. As we reflect, we look to create spaces that champion this notion by showcasing the abundance of talent within and around UAL. Within the fashion industry, black voices are often silenced and ignored however, despite this, we are still excelling - creating our own platforms and spaces that champion us, our work, and each other. This month, we wanted to celebrate black voices within the world of fashion while giving them space to discuss joy, wellness, and unapologetic self-expression. Having selected panellists from different sectors of the industry, this event will create an experience that can resonate with black students and their multi-hyphenate nature. Join us in this discussion this Black History Month and beyond.

This event is for all UAL students only and you must book at ticket to attend as spaces are limited. You do not need to identify as Black to attend, this event is open to all. Please note this venue has no step free aceess and there is one flight of stairs up and down.
