Overview

It can be really difficult to navigate the world as a queer person. But what if you come from a community that is also marginalised in other ways, or heavily ostracises non-cis & hetero sexualities? This panel looks at what it's like to be queer and a minority, and exploring identity through creativity.

Our LCC Officer, Sophia Nasif, will be hosting an online panel looking at what it is like to be both queer but also considered a minority in other ways - whether to do with ethnicity, religion or in other ways. The panel will explore topics around being queer in communities that aren't always accepting of LGBTQ+, navigating otherness around being queer and a minority, and exploring these identities through the work our panelists do.
