I ran to be an officer because I believe university should be about so much more than just getting a degree!
The communities I found at UAL were the foundation of my university experience. Being part of the women's football team gave me some of my happiest moments at UAL, lifelong friendships and a sense of belonging when I needed it most. It proved that sports, societies and extracurricular activities aren’t just nice to have; they are the reason students stay and succeed at university.
My goal is to help UAL recognise the value of these communities in the same way students do. I believe it’s in UAL’s best interest to give these communities the appreciation, investment and strategic ambition they deserve.
