Hi, my name is Katwamba. I will be the LCF Officer for 24/25. In 2023, I graduated with a BA(Hons) in Fashion Photography. I stood for elections because I want to make a difference to the student body at LCF as it moves to East Bank.
I want to ensure we can build a creative and nourishing student community and have affordable and fairer access to education. I also want to continue working to reduce the attainment gap for underrepresented students and have a decolonised curriculum across all schools.
As the current LCF Officer, I have championed your feedback on the new building and developed the student community at LCF by having more student-led events and spaces. Additionally, I have worked to reduce the cost of study and attainment gap by getting student feedback, which has been crucial to better understanding.
