Autumn Election 2020

Welcome to Arts SU's Autumn Election 2020. Now is your chance to vote for the students who will represent your interests, community, college and university. The Liberation and College Officers work to represent you at UAL, driving positive change for the student groups they represent. The NUS Delegates represent you on a national level at the Annual NUS Conference, influencing national student policy that reflects the views of UAL students. Click 'Vote Now', have a read of the manifestos and then rank the candidates in order of preference (1st = 1st choice and so on), before casting your vote. The BAME Students Officer, works to ensure that Black, Asian, Minority & Ethnic students feel supported and represented during their time at UAL. The Officer elected may plan an event, run a campaign or lobby the University for change, in order to improve the University experience of the students they represent. They will also have the chance to vote at Student Council Meetings, where you will represent the voice of your peers and set the direction and priorities of your SU.

They may work closely with PG Reps at each college, and will also have the chance to represent the voice of your peers at Student Council Meetings.

NUS National Conference Representatives (Delegates) (4 places)

The NUS Delegate will represent UAL students at national level by attending National Union of Students (NUS) National Conference in 2021. Here, they will vote for national student campaign priorities for the next year, as well as on National HE Policy. It will also be their job to elect the NUS National President and Vice-President.

NUS Represenatives (Delegates) represent UAL students at the national level by attending and participating in National Union of Students (NUS) Conference (17th and 18th April 2024)

The main roles of a Representative at NUS Conference includes: voting on policy and voting on reports.
