Celebrating Reps

Rep of the Month

Each month we'll recognize student reps, both Course Reps and School Reps, who have done a fantastic job at representing their peers.

Nominations can be submitted using the form below. The Arts SU Representation & Democracy team will review the nominations and select winners each month. The winners will be publisized on this page and in our rep newsletters, and receive vouchers to recognize their contributions to academic representation at UAL.

 

 

Rep of the Month Criteria

  • They attend and engage at meetings (Course Committees, SDFs, and Boards of Study). They proactively suggest what's going well, what could be improved, and suggest potential solutions.
  • They communicate regularly and effectively with the other students, making sure that they reach a majority of students when collecting feedback and keeping people informed about the outcomes of meetings.
  • Their actions have made a positive impact on their course or school.
  • They work together with other Reps, members of staff, and the Students’ Union to resolve issues and champion the representation of all students.
  • They may have done something else outstanding in their Rep role
