What is Rep Conference?
Rep Conference is about recognising and celebrating the outstanding contribution our Rep community makes to the student experience at UAL, providing opportunities for Reps to develop new skills and knowlede to support them in their roles.

- Stalls: Providers like Creative Shift, Careers & Employability and many more!
- Bespoke Workshops: Workshops with experienced facilitators in community organising, decolonising the curriculum and wellbeing.
- Panel Discussion: A chaired discussion with senior UAL, Arts SU and elected Sabbatical Officer on topics relevant to the student experience.
- Network: with fellow Course Reps, UAL and Arts SU staff.
- Light refreshments!

This year's Rep Conference was held at The Red Room, Chelsea College of Art. The Conference on Wednesday 17th February 2026 1:30 - 6.30pm.

Rep Conference 2026 wrapped:
46 Reps from across UAL attended the conference!
We had 7 stalls from across the SU and UAL to show Reps the amazing opportunities available to them.
"I got to converse with other Course Reps and learnt new skills from the workshops".
We had a chocie of 8 brilliant workshops across the day.
"During the workshops, it was an opportunity to hear what other Course Reps are going through in their courses, which was a nice bonding experience, as it made me felt like I’m not the only one".
We also had a panel discussion, lead by SU SABBS Zaine Cowan and Ellie Walsh O'Neill which included UAL's Pro Vice Chancellor of Education and Students Allan Atlee, CCW Student Partnership Manager Jascon Forrest, Senior Educational Developer Mia Liyanage, and SU Education Quality Manager Hannah Lockey.
"The workshops were my favorite part of the event, I enjoyed the change of pace from my normal courses".
