What is Rep Conference 2026?

Rep Conference is about recognising and celebrating the outstanding contribution our Rep community makes to the student experience at UAL, while also providing opportunities for Reps to develop new skills and knowlede to support them in their roles and the creative careers they will go onto forge beyond university.

You can expect...

- Stalls: Providers like UAL Careers, Course Support and many more!

- Interactive Sessions: Workshops with experiencing facilitators to help you develop new skills and knowledge.

- Panel Discussion: A chaired discussion with senior UAL, Arts SU and elected Sabbatical Officer on a theme or topic relevant to the student experience.

- Networking: with external providers, UAL Staff, fellow reps.

- Light refreshments!

Workshop programme:

We are collaborating with Arts SU and UAL teams accross all colleges to deliver 8 workshops for our Rep community as part of this year's Rep Conference.

These workshops explore a wide range of themes and topics, including community organising, decolonising the curriculum, developing your personal brand, managing stress and wellbeing, collaborating with community groups and more.

Reps who have acquired a ticket for Rep Conference must register their interest for the workshops they want to take part in.

Reps will be able to take part in two workshops each - one in the morning (Block #1) and one in the afternoon (Block #2). All ticket holders will receive an email to their student email with an online Attendee Form, inviting Reps to specify their first and second choice of workshop for both Blocks.

The organising team will do their best to allocate workshops based on preference, although this cannot be guaranteed in every instance due to numbers and capacity.
