Recognising and representing the diverse student community at UAL is a fundamental part of our work at Arts SU. Our mission is to understand the inequality and disparities that exist for our students in arts education and wider society so that we can respond. We want our work to provide a voice and platform to marginalised student communities, actively educating and addressing the barriers that exist.

Disability History Month: 'Let Us Show You' 2023 Exhibition

This year's exhibition is themed around allowing students showcasing work around disabilities, both visible and invisible. Disability isn't something that should feel like it needs to be hidden, and we aim to openly embrace it in this exhibition.

Our callout was open to work about physical, intellectual, learning, developmental, mental, neurological, neurodevelopment, neurodivergence and all other types of disability.

We were sent in an incredible amount of high quality work from students, and we hope that the final selection showcases how truly varied disability is.
